Chaldean Church

This proposed new build in central Michigan draws inspiration from the iconic Cross in the Woods Catholic shrine, reimagined as a multi-phase spiritual and cultural destination. Phase one centers on a soaring Cross, envisioned as the focal point of the entire site. Surrounding it, an outdoor nave, indoor chapel, museum, gift shop, and café will be thoughtfully arranged to create a cohesive and engaging visitor experience. The grotto from which the Cross emerges naturally orchestrates respectful circulation, guiding guests through the site’s amenities and culminating in a serene prayer garden at the rear, blending contemplative spaces with community engagement in a harmonious architectural composition.
